The CSRD obligation depends on various criteria: company size (total assets > EUR 25 million or revenue > EUR 50 million), number of employees (> 250), and capital market orientation. Large corporations and capital market-oriented companies are generally obligated. We recommend a legal review on a case-by-case basis.

After activating the module, the setup wizard guides you through the basic steps. First, you capture your organization and locations. Then you start collecting data for your emissions. The AI supports you with validation and suggestions for emission factors.

Scope 1 covers direct emissions from own sources (e.g., heating, company vehicles). Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from purchased energy (electricity, heat). Scope 3 covers all other indirect emissions in the value chain, e.g., business travel, commuting, supply chain (15 categories according to the GHG Protocol).

Use preeco's integrated supplier portal. Invite your suppliers to enter their own emission data. The system automatically validates the data and calculates your supply chain's Scope 3 emissions. For missing data, default values from the emission factor database can be used.

Yes, preeco | sustainability documents all data changes with a complete audit trail. Emission factors and calculation methods are documented. All data is prepared for external assurance and can be exported in the required format.

preeco | sustainability currently supports ESRS E1 Climate Change with all 19 E1 functions. This includes the Transition Plan (E1-1), climate risks and opportunities (E1-2, E1-3), climate targets (E1-6), energy data (E1-7), greenhouse gas emissions (E1-8), and financial impacts (E1-11). Additional ESRS modules will follow.
