The E1 disclosure report consolidates your climate-related information for one reporting period in a single document. You create it in the “E1 Disclosure Reports” module – it starts as a draft in version v1 and already contains all designated disclosure sections.

Prerequisites

  • At least one reporting period has been created for the team (for example FY 2025).
  • You are signed in to your team and have permission to create reports (administrator role).
  • The period's climate data – GHG emissions, energy consumption, climate targets, transition plan – has been captured as completely as possible, because the report sections draw on it.

Step by step

  1. In the left-hand menu, navigate to “Reporting > E1 Disclosure Reports”.
  2. In the “Reports” section, click the “Create report” button at the top right. The “New E1 Disclosure Report” side dialog opens with the “Report details” section.
  3. In the mandatory “Report title” field, enter a meaningful name, for example E1 Climate Change Disclosure Report.
  4. Optionally select a single organization under “Organization”. If you make no selection, the report applies to all organizations in the team.
  5. In the mandatory “Reporting period” field, select the period the report should cover.
  6. If required, add an explanatory text in the optional “Description” field.
  7. Click “Create report”. Use “Cancel” to discard your entries.

If a mandatory field is left empty, the browser prevents submission and marks the relevant field. Only one report is permitted per reporting period – if one already exists, the message “A report already exists for this reporting period.” appears below the selection field.

What happens next

  • The side dialog closes, the message “E1 disclosure report created.” appears, and the report is listed in the table with the status “Draft” and version “v1”. The “Completeness” column is initially empty.
  • The report is created automatically prefilled with all designated disclosure sections – disclosure requirements E1-1 to E1-9 as well as the related ESRS 2 disclosures. You will find them on the detail page in the “Disclosure Sections” tab.
  • The sections obtain their source data from the climate targets, transition plans, GHG emissions and energy consumption modules, and indicate missing content as gaps.
  • The action is logged in the activity history.
  • The report then goes through the approval workflow from draft through review to finalization.

Practical tip: create the report only once the period's climate data has largely been captured. The automatically prefilled sections are then reliable from the start, and you only have to work through the remaining gaps.
