Where We Come From. Where We Are Heading.
preeco GmbH was created in response to the requirements of the GDPR. From the new challenges of data protection, the vision emerged to create a significant and valuable supporter of data protection management. In Ulm, the data protection management software preeco was established in 2018 as a result.
At nelo, we previously gained extensive practical experience in implementing the General Data Protection Regulation in companies of various sizes. In doing so, we repeatedly encountered a fundamental problem: there was no specialized and comprehensive software for implementing the GDPR. A solution was needed that established structures and processes for creating, updating, and archiving the required documents.
We founded preeco with the clear goal of becoming the market leader in GDPR software and designing a data protection management software for the European market that significantly supports data protection officers. With the whistleblower system, we leveraged our expertise in data protection to expand our product portfolio with a meaningful addition.
