Frequently Asked Questions about Hosting
A switch to higher isolation is possible at any time: from Cloud to Private Cloud, from Cloud to On-Premises, or from Private Cloud to On-Premises. However, a switch back to the Cloud is not possible. Our migration experts support you in moving your data and configuration to the new infrastructure without operational interruption.
Our Cloud and Private Cloud options use a certified data center in Germany (Hetzner in Nuremberg). Other European locations are available upon request.
Yes, with Cloud and Private Cloud hosting, daily automated backups are created. Backups are retained for 7 days and stored encrypted. Off-site backups are created daily at the Hetzner Falkenstein data center. Backups can be restored if needed. With On-Premises, the backup strategy is your responsibility.
We guarantee 99.0% availability (SLA) for our Cloud environment. This means a maximum downtime of approximately 87.7 hours per year.
Support is included in all hosting options. We offer support via email, phone, and through our support portal. Response times: critical incidents (system unavailable) within 2 business hours, high priority (important functions impaired) within 4 business hours. Private Cloud customers have dedicated contacts available.
