Record Working Time and Wage Assessments
How to record working conditions for your own workforce in preeco | nachhaltigkeit: working time, leave and flexibility figures under ESRS S1-15, plus the wage assessment against the living wage benchmark under ESRS S1-10.
Under “Working conditions” you document two records per organization and reporting period: the “Working Time Record” with working time, leave and flexibility figures (ESRS S1-15), and the “Wage assessment”, which checks whether the lowest wage paid reaches the living wage benchmark (adequate wage under ESRS S1-10).
Prerequisites
- For the selected reporting period, an active or locked CSRD reporting boundary exists with at least one included organization.
- The reporting period is selected in the header bar – the record adopts its period.
- For the wage assessment, you know the lowest wage the organization pays in the respective country.
Create a working time record
- Open “Own Workforce → Working Conditions”.
- In the “Working Time Record” section, click “Add Working Time Record”. The dialog of the same name opens on the side.
- Under “Person Details”, select the “Organization”. For an entry at group level, activate the “Group-level entry” checkbox.
- Under “Family-related Leave - Entitlement”, enter “Total Employees” and the entitlement figures per gender; under “Family-related Leave - Uptake”, enter the actual uptake per gender. Both sections are mandatory.
- Optionally complete the sections “Working Hours” (“Average Weekly Working Hours”, “Average Weekly Overtime Hours”), “Flexible / Remote Work”, “Detailed Information on Parental Leave” and “Other”.
- Click “Create”.
Create a wage assessment
- On the same page, in the “Wage assessments” section, click “Add wage assessment”.
- Under “Person details”, fill in the mandatory fields “Organization”, “Country” and “Currency”.
- Under “Lowest wages”, enter the amount and select the “Wage basis” (
Monthly Gross,Annual Gross,Hourly,DailyorWeekly). If you include interns and trainees, add the required justification; otherwise activate “Interns and trainees are excluded”. - Under “Living wage benchmark”, click “Find living wage benchmark”. Alternatively, enter “Living wage benchmark (monthly gross)”, “Benchmark source” and “Benchmark year” manually.
- Check the automatically calculated outcome in the “Results” section. In case of non-compliance, record the number and percentage under “Affected employees”.
- Under “Methodology”, select the “Data quality” (
ActualorEstimated) and click “Create”.
What happens next
- The records appear in the “Working Time Record” and “Wage assessments” tables together with their status and result columns.
- Entitlement and uptake rates as well as compliance status and gap are calculated automatically.
- The KPIs “Family Leave Uptake” and “Adequate wage compliance” in the “Key Performance Indicators” section are updated, and the action is logged in the activity history.
Practical tip: use “Find living wage benchmark” first – the suggested dataset benchmark is source-verified and automatically documents household scenario, year and confidence. Only if no suitable entry exists should you maintain the benchmark manually.
