Revert the DMA to draft, archive or delete an IRO

Revert an active DMA in preeco | nachhaltigkeit to draft so you can change it again, take an IRO out of this year’s assessment with a reason, restore archived IROs or delete an IRO for good.

Last updated:

An active DMA is locked. To change it, revert it to draft. In draft you can archive an IRO – it leaves this year’s assessment but is kept with its history – or delete it for good.

Prerequisites

  • Reverting: the DMA has the status “Active”, and you have the role Administrator.
  • Archiving, restoring and deleting: the DMA has the status “Draft”, and you have the role Administrator, Manager or Editor.

Revert the DMA to draft

  1. Open the topic’s DMA page, for example “Climate → DMA”, and choose “Actions → Revert to draft”.
  2. The dialog explains what happens: the scores unlock and the topic’s disclosures switch off for the reporting period until the DMA is activated again.
  3. Confirm with “Revert to draft”. The message “Reverted to draft” appears; the revert is logged in the activity history.

Archive an IRO

  1. In the “Impacts, risks and opportunities (IROs)” table, click the IRO’s row. The IRO page opens.
  2. Choose “Actions → Archive”. The “Archive this IRO” dialog appears.
  3. Enter a “Reason” – without one you see “A reason is required.” – and click “Archive”.

The IRO no longer counts this year; its sub-topic area is recalculated. It is kept with its history for next year.

Show and restore archived IROs

  1. In the IRO table, set the “Status” filter to “Archived” or “All”.
  2. Open the IRO and choose “Actions → Restore”. Confirm the “Restore this IRO” dialog. The IRO returns to the assessment with its outcome.
  3. If its sub-topic area is defined not material, undo that definition first (see Define a sub-topic area as not material).

Delete an IRO

  1. Open the IRO and choose “Actions → Delete”.
  2. Confirm the “Delete this IRO” dialog. Deleting cannot be undone and is logged.

Practical tip: If an IRO should only drop out for this year, archive it rather than deleting it – the reason and the history are then kept for the next assessment. Only IROs can be archived or deleted, not the DMA itself and not stakeholder engagements.
