View deletion dates in the dashboard
The dashboard lists every report with a stored deletion date in the “Reports marked for deletion” section. Learn how to find the table, sort it and review a deletion marker before the report is finally deleted.
The dashboard collects every report that has a stored deletion date in a table of its own. This gives you an overview of which cases are about to be removed, and lets you review each deletion marker before the report is finally deleted.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in to preeco | hinweisgeber and assigned to a team as an active member.
- A deletion date is stored for at least one report in your team — otherwise the dashboard hides the section automatically.
- Which charts and tables appear in the dashboard also depends on your permissions.
Step by step
- Log in. After login you are automatically redirected to the “Dashboard” of your current team. Alternatively, you can reach the dashboard at any time via the logo in the top left of the header.
- Scroll past the evaluation charts and the other report tables to the “Reports marked for deletion” section.
- Get an overview of the table. It uses the same columns as the other dashboard tables: “Status”, “Designation”, “Report ID”, “Organisation”, “Priority”, “Confidentiality maintained”, “Main user”, “Deadline”, “Last updated” and “Creation date”.
- Sort the list via the column headings so that you can work through the upcoming deletions in the order you need.
- Click a table row. This opens the detail page of the respective report.
- Review the deletion marker there. If steps requiring documentation are still open, remove the marker on the detail page; otherwise leave the stored deletion date in place.
If the section does not appear
The “Reports marked for deletion” section is tied to your data inventory: it is only shown once a deletion date has been stored for at least one report. If it is missing, no report in your team is currently marked for deletion. You store a deletion date on the detail page of the respective report in the “Reports” module.
Practical tip
Review this table regularly — for example, at the end of each month. This ensures that deletions only take place after all steps requiring documentation have been completed, that is, after confirmation of completion and archiving of the relevant evidence.
