Use the dashboard – overview of all reports
How to use the dashboard as your daily work list: read the open deadlines ring chart, work through reports with an upcoming deadline, distribute unassigned cases and resume your last processing via “Last viewed”.
The dashboard is your start page after login and, at the same time, your work list: at a glance you see which reports are open, which deadlines are running out, which cases are not yet assigned to anyone and what you worked on last.
The German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) requires confirmation of receipt within seven days and feedback to the reporting person within three months – the dashboard makes visible which cases need your attention for this now.
Prerequisites
- You are logged in and assigned to a team as an active member.
- Which charts and tables appear depends on your permissions and on your team's data inventory – sections without content are hidden automatically.
Open the dashboard
- Log in. After login you are automatically redirected to the dashboard of your current team.
- Alternatively, click the logo in the top left of the header at any time.
- Start with the three ring charts “Reports by status”, “Reports by priority” and “Open deadlines”. If a chart contains no reports to evaluate, the note “No data” appears instead.
Evaluate open deadlines
- In the “Open deadlines” ring chart, read the segments “Overdue” (deadline already expired), “Within 14 days” and “Later”. The header states the number with the addition “open deadlines”.
- Click “Show” to open the list of open reports with an upcoming deadline.
- Then work through the table section “Deadline in the next 14 days”. It lists all reports in your team whose “Deadline” expires within the next 14 days and that are still in “New” or “In progress” status.
- Click a table row to open the detail page of the report and continue processing it.
Distribute unassigned reports
- Open the “Unassigned reports” section. It only appears while reports without a main user exist.
- Click the “Designation” column or the entire table row to open the detail page of the report.
- Assign a main user there. The case then disappears from this table.
Your own and recently viewed reports
- “Notes assigned to me” shows all reports in which you are entered as the main user – regardless of the current processing status.
- “Last viewed” lists the reports you opened most recently, so you can carry on without detour after an interruption.
- All dashboard tables use the same columns – among them “Status”, “Designation”, “Report ID”, “Organisation”, “Priority”, “Main user” and “Deadline” – and can be sorted via the column headings.
From practice: start your working day with “Notes assigned to me” and use the “Open deadlines” ring chart once a week as an early warning system. As long as “Overdue” or “Within 14 days” show a share there, decide in the same week which cases have to be processed with priority.
