Set up whitelabel branding – logo, stylesheet and reporting form

How to bring the reporting form of each organisation into your corporate design in preeco | hinweisgeber: add a logo and stylesheet on the “Appearance” tab, maintain the legal details and decide on the “Information in the reporting form” tab which fields whistleblowers see.

The reporting form is the visible part of your reporting office. With a logo, your own stylesheet and the form options you set it up per organisation in your own corporate design – and every organisation can have its own look.

Prerequisites

  • You have the edit permission for the organisation in question.
  • You are on the organisation’s detail page, on the “Basic data”, “Appearance”, “Introductory texts” or “Information in the reporting form” tab.
  • Knowledge of CSS/HTML is required for colour and layout adjustments made through the stylesheet.

Add the logo and colours

  1. On the “Appearance” tab, click “Edit”. A side panel opens with the title of the organisation.
  2. In the “Logo” section, upload an image file. Allowed formats are SVG, PNG, JPG or JPEG up to 5 MB.
  3. In the “Stylesheet” section, enter your CSS instructions. The stylesheet controls the colours, fonts and spacing of the reporting form.
  4. Click “Save”.

The new logo appears in the organisation’s reporting form immediately, and the stylesheet is applied to the public reporting form right away.

Adjust the address and legal details

A readable address and the correct naming of the responsible entity are part of the whitelabel appearance too.

  1. On the “Basic data” tab, click “Edit”. A side panel opens with the title “Organisations”.
  2. Under “Labelling of the internet address”, enter a readable name, for example my-company instead of a UUID.
  3. Fill in the “Responsible organisation” and “Details of the reporting office” fields and add the “Link to the data protection notice” and the “Link to the legal notice”.
  4. Click “Save”.

Changes to the “Labelling of the internet address” take effect immediately: the previous URL no longer forwards to the reporting form. Your own welcome wording is maintained on the “Introductory texts” tab.

Choose the information in the reporting form

  1. On the “Information in the reporting form” tab, click “Edit”. A side panel opens with the title of the organisation.
  2. Enable or disable the options you need, for example “Voice message activated”, “Enable named reporting”, “Enable email notifications”, “Show data protection notice” or “Selectable field of application”. Dependent mandatory-field options only appear once the higher-level option has been enabled.
  3. If you enable “Add custom field”, enter the label under “Custom field – Designation”. If multiple languages are enabled, use the language switcher to switch between the language versions.
  4. Click “Save”.

Practical tips

  • Only enable “Selectable field of application” if multiple scopes of application are assigned to the organisation and whistleblowers are intended to choose between them.
  • Test the logo and stylesheet straight away via the “Registration form URL” on the “Basic data” tab – the button next to the URL copies it to the clipboard.
  • For more extensive CSS adjustments, our support team will be happy to assist you on request.
