Open an existing report – logging in with report ID and password
With your report ID and password you can return to a report you have already submitted in the whistleblower portal at any time, check its status and exchange messages with the reporting office.
If you set a password when submitting your report, you can return to it at any time: you can check its status and exchange messages with the reporting office. This article shows how to log in and what the messages below the fields mean.
Prerequisites
- You have previously submitted a report and set a password in the process — that is, you did not select the option “I do not want to create access to my report”.
- You have your “Report ID” and “Password” at hand, which you received when submitting the report.
- You are on the home page of your organisation’s whistleblower portal.
Step by step
The login form is located on the portal home page on the right-hand side under the heading “Login to existing report”.
- Enter your “Report ID” in the first field.
- Enter your “Password” in the second field.
- Click “Open report”.
If the information is correct, you will be taken directly to your report, where you can read its history and any new messages from the reporting office.
If the login does not work
When a login attempt fails, a message appears below the fields. Each further unsuccessful attempt shows one of these messages again:
- “Please check your report ID” — the ID you entered is unknown or incorrect. Check it character by character.
- “Please check your password” — the password does not match the report ID.
- “This report is locked” — the reporting office has blocked access to this report. In this case, only asking the reporting office directly will help.
Lost report ID or password
There is deliberately no function to reset the password — this is what keeps access to your report exclusively yours. If you have lost your report ID or your password, you can no longer access your existing report. In this case, contact the reporting office directly; if necessary, submit a new report and this time keep the report ID and password in a safe place.
