Manage the team name, logo and legal links
On the “Settings → Advertisement” page you set the team name, upload your logo and store the links to the legal notice and the data protection notice. The logo and links appear in the public whistleblower portal.
On the “Advertisement” page you control how your team appears in preeco | hinweisgeber and in the public whistleblower portal: the team name, the logo and the links to the legal notice and the data protection notice.
Prerequisites
- You have the “Edit team settings” permission.
- Your logo is available as SVG, PNG, JPG or JPEG and is no larger than 1 MB.
- Your legal notice and data protection notice exist as publicly accessible pages with a full URL.
Opening the page
- Navigate to “Settings → Advertisement” in the left-hand menu.
- The page has the heading “Advertisement” and shows the sections “Name of your team”, “E-mail signature”, “Logo” and “Links”.
Changing the team name
The team name is only used in the software user interface.
- Click “Edit” in the “Name of your team” section. A side panel opens with the title “Name of your team”.
- Edit the “Name of the team” field.
- Click “Save”. The panel closes and the page shows the new name. Alternatively, click “Cancel”.
Uploading or changing the logo
The logo uploaded here is displayed at the top left of the administration interface.
- Click “Edit” in the “Logo” section. A side panel opens with the title “Advertisement”.
- Upload your file in the “Profile picture” upload field. Permitted formats are
SVG,PNG,JPGandJPEG, up to a maximum of 1 MB. - If you want to remove an existing logo, click “Delete” and confirm the prompt “Do you want to remove the file? Please confirm this action.”
- Click “Save”. The new logo appears immediately at the top left of the administration interface. Alternatively, click “Cancel”.
If no logo is uploaded, the display column of the section remains empty.
Storing the links to the legal notice and data protection notice
- Click “Edit” in the “Links” section. A side panel opens with the title “Advertisement”.
- In the “Link to the legal notice” field, enter the full URL of your legal notice page, for example
https://www.example.com/legal-notice. The field is optional and must contain a valid URL with at least five characters. - In the “Link to the data protection notice” field, enter the full URL of your data protection notice page. The same rules apply.
- Click “Save”. Alternatively, click “Cancel”.
Where the settings become visible
- The team logo and both links appear in the public whistleblower portal through which whistleblowers submit their reports — the links in the footer.
- The team name appears only in the software user interface.
After saving, check that the linked pages are publicly accessible and up to date — for whistleblowers they are often the first point of trust before a report is submitted.
