Manage organisation files – upload and delete
How to store documents that belong to an organisation as a whole in preeco | hinweisgeber: upload files on the “Files” tab via “New”, add several files at once and delete files you no longer need.
Store documents that apply to an entire organisation – for example a procedural description of your reporting office, an internal policy or a works agreement. These files are attached to the organisation itself and are kept separate from the files of other organisations.
Prerequisites
- You are on an organisation's detail page, on the “Files” tab.
- To upload and delete files, you need the “edit” permission for the organisation.
View existing files
The “Files” tab shows a table of all files already uploaded for the organisation in the “Files” section.
Upload a new file
- On the “Files” tab, click “New”. A side panel with the title “Files” opens.
- In the upload area labelled “Files”, select one or more files or drag them into the area. Multiple upload is possible.
- Click “Save”.
After saving, the message “The changes have been saved successfully.” appears and the file table is updated.
Delete a file
- In the file table, select the files to be deleted using the checkboxes.
- Confirm the delete action.
The message “The changes have been saved successfully.” confirms the deletion as well.
Practical tips
- Deleted files cannot be restored. If you only want to replace a file, upload the new version first and delete the old one afterwards.
- Meaningful file names including a version or date – for example
Reporting-office-procedure_2026-03.pdf– keep the table readable even with many documents. - Only store documents here that apply to the whole organisation. Material relating to a specific case belongs to that report, not to the organisation.
