Assign FAQ entries and scopes of application to an organisation

Define per organisation which FAQ entries and which scopes of application appear in the reporting form. Both assignments are made on the organisation detail page and take effect immediately.

Last updated:

Every organisation can show its own reporting form: its own frequently asked questions and its own selection of scopes of application. You configure both on the organisation detail page — in a few clicks and without changing the central master data.

Prerequisites

  • You are on the detail page of the organisation concerned.
  • You have the “edit” permission for this organisation.
  • The FAQ entries and scopes of application already exist team-wide — under “Settings → Frequently asked questions” and “Settings → Scopes of application”. If no FAQ entries have been created yet, the notice “No frequently asked questions available” appears.

Select FAQ entries for the reporting form

The “Frequently asked questions” tab shows all available FAQ entries with question and status (“Active” / “Inactive”).

  1. On the organisation detail page, open the “Frequently asked questions” tab.
  2. Click “Edit”. A side panel opens with the title “Frequently asked questions”.
  3. Select the “Activate” checkbox for every entry you want to show. For each entry, the side panel shows the question as the designation and the answer as the description, so you can check the content before activating it.
  4. Click “Save”.

Release scopes of application for reports

On the “Scopes of application” tab you determine which scopes of application (categories) are available for selection in reports for this organisation. The list shows name and status; hovering over the name displays the stored description as a tooltip.

  1. Switch to the “Scopes of application” tab.
  2. Click “Edit”. A side panel opens with the organisation title.
  3. Enable or disable the desired scopes of application.
  4. Click “Save”.

What happens next

  • Changed FAQ activations take effect immediately in the reporting form.
  • Changed scope of application assignments have an immediate effect on the categories displayed in the reporting form.

Practical tip: You maintain the content itself centrally under “Settings” — at organisation level you only select what is visible in the respective reporting form. For whistleblowers to be able to choose the scope of application themselves in the reporting form, the “Selectable field of application” option must also be enabled in the “Information in the reporting form” tab.
