What's new in Version 4
An overview of the most important new features and improvements in Version 4 of preeco | data protection.
Version 4 of preeco | data protection brings a fundamentally redesigned interface, new features and significantly improved workflows. This article gives you an overview of the most important changes.
New user interface:
The application has been redesigned from the ground up. The navigation is clearer, buttons and menus are placed more intuitively, and the entire design has been modernized. A dark mode is now available as well.
Renaming: "Package" becomes "Team":
The term "Package" has been replaced by "Team". This better describes its actual function – the organizational unit for your users and data protection data. All existing data has been transferred automatically.
"Package management" becomes "Settings":
The former "Package management" area can now be found under "Settings". Here you manage users, organizations, notifications and other configurations in one central place.
Improved document functions:
Documents can now be created, downloaded and managed more easily. New templates and export options make creating data protection documents considerably easier.
Further improvements:
Noticeable improvements have also been introduced in areas such as task management, notifications, two-factor authentication and switching between teams. The video for this version gives a visual overview of all the highlights.
Note: All existing data and settings were automatically migrated during the update to Version 4. No data loss, no reconfiguration required.
