Switching organizations – working efficiently with tenants
How to quickly switch between different organizations and tenants in preeco | data protection.
If you manage several organizations or tenants in preeco | data protection, you can switch the focus of the application to another organization at any time. This way you keep an overview without having to reload the application or log in again.
Open the organization switcher:
In the application you will find – usually in the header area or in the side navigation – a section that shows the currently active organization. Click on it to open a list of all organizations accessible to you.
Select an organization:
Select the desired organization from the list. The application immediately switches to the context of this organization. All displayed data – processing activities, documents, tasks – now refer to the selected organization.
Confirm the switch:
The switch takes place without a confirmation step and is effective immediately. Clicking on the organization display again allows you to switch to another organization at any time.
Observe tenant separation:
Each organization has a completely separate set of data. Processing activities or documents of one organization are not visible in another organization. This ensures the data protection-compliant separation of tenant data.
Tip: If you work as an external data protection officer, we recommend checking the active organization in the header before each editing session to avoid accidental entries in the wrong tenant.
