Switching between teams with one account
How to switch seamlessly between several teams with a single preeco account, without having to log in again.
If you are a member of several teams – for example because you handle data protection tasks for different companies or departments – you can switch between these teams in preeco | data protection with a single account, without having to log in again each time.
Requirement:
Your email address must be registered as a user in all relevant teams and the invitation must have been accepted. Each team manages its own data and its own permissions.
Switching teams:
At the top of the application, click on the name of the current team or on the corresponding selection menu. A list of all teams you belong to appears. Click on the desired team to switch to it.
After switching:
The application loads the data of the selected team. You now see exclusively the data, tasks and settings that belong to this team. Your personal profile settings – such as dark mode or notifications – are retained across teams.
Back to the previous team:
Open the team menu again and select the desired team. Switching is possible at any time and as often as you like.
Tip: If you switch between teams regularly, keep in mind that tasks and data protection documentation are team-specific. Make sure you are always in the right team context before making changes.
