"Package" becomes "Team" – This is what has changed
In version 4 of preeco | data protection, the term „Package" was replaced by „Team" – what this means and what changes for you.
With version 4 of preeco | data protection, a central term has changed: What was previously known as „Package" is now consistently called „Team". This renaming better reflects the actual function and makes everyday collaboration easier.
What was a „Package"?
Previously, the term „Package" was used to describe a licensed unit of the application in which users jointly manage data protection data. The term was not self-explanatory for many users.
What is a „Team"?
A team continues to be the central organizational unit in preeco | data protection. It bundles all users, permissions and data protection data. The functionality is fully retained – only the term has been adjusted.
What do you need to do?
No action is required on your part. All existing data and settings were transferred automatically. You will now find your previous „Packages" everywhere in the application under the term „Team" – in the navigation, in the settings and in the user management.
Manage teams:
Via the „Settings" area, you can view your teams, manage users and make team-wide configurations.
Note: If you belong to several teams, you can switch between them with a single account – without having to log in again.
