Manage tasks efficiently with preeco | data protection

How to create tasks in preeco | data protection, assign responsible persons and keep track of the processing status at all times.

Task management in preeco | data protection helps you to plan data protection measures in a structured way, distribute responsibilities clearly and track progress transparently.

Create a task:
Navigate to the „Tasks" area in the application. Click on „New task" and assign a meaningful title. Optionally add a description, a due date and a priority so that everyone involved understands the context at a glance.

Assign a task:
In the „Responsible person" field, select the responsible person from your team. They will then receive a notification about the new task – provided that notifications are enabled in their profile.

Track the status:
All open and completed tasks can be viewed collectively in the task overview. There you can see the current processing status and, if necessary, comment or re-prioritize the task.

Complete tasks:
As soon as a task is done, the responsible person marks it as „Done". The task remains stored in the system for traceability.

Tip: Link tasks directly to processing activities or other data protection documents in order to document the connection transparently and demonstrate GDPR compliance.
