Dark mode – Working in the new look
How to enable dark mode in preeco | data protection and switch between light and dark appearance.
preeco | data protection offers a dark mode that displays the user interface in a dark color scheme. This is especially pleasant during long work sessions or in dimly lit environments. Switching takes just a few steps.
Enable dark mode:
Click your profile picture or your user name in the top right to open the profile menu. There you will find the option to switch the appearance. Select "Dark" to enable dark mode.
Back to light mode:
If you want to return to the light appearance, open the same menu and select "Light". The change takes effect immediately and without reloading the page.
Use system setting:
Alternatively, you can choose the "System" option. In this case, the appearance automatically follows the display settings of your operating system. If your device automatically switches to dark mode at night, preeco | data protection follows this setting.
Note: The setting is user-specific and is saved with your profile. It applies to all sessions until you change the setting manually. Other team members are not affected by it.
Tip: Dark mode has no effect on exported documents or PDF reports – these are always output in the light format.
