AI actions for processing activities

In preeco | data protection, processing activities can be generated and revised automatically with an AI integration. After storing an AI provider API key under "Settings > Integrations", three action modes are available: supplement, completely revise, or request a change proposal. Use requires the rights to edit/create processing activities as well as the right to use AI, granted under "User groups and permissions".

A record of processing activities under Article 30 GDPR can be filled in completely with AI in preeco data protection. The starting point is a thin record – the processing activity Applicant Management with only a few details. In the AI actions menu you choose between: only supplement content, completely revise it, or request a change proposal. We revise completely. Optionally add notes – such as industry or legal basis – and confirm. The data is sent to your AI integration, here Langdock. Within moments the processing activity is filled – with a professionally worded description. The short description, purpose and matching text modules are created too – you review and refine the result. If you would rather not overwrite the existing content, request a change proposal instead and apply it partially – an Article 30 record in minutes, with AI and your team.

Processing activities can be generated automatically with AI in preeco | data protection. To use this function, first store an AI provider API key in the settings under "Integrations" in the "AI provider" section.

Then open a processing activity and start the AI actions via the actions / AI menu.

Three options are available there:

  • Only supplement content – the existing text is kept, new content is added and shown directly in the processing activity after a few moments.
  • Completely revise content – the existing text is replaced by the new content and shown directly in the processing activity after a few moments.
  • Request a change proposal – the proposal appears in the "Change proposals" tab and can be applied in full or in part.

For all actions you can optionally provide additional notes.

Required permissions

To use the AI function, users need the permission to edit and create processing activities as well as the right to use the AI function. These rights are granted under "Settings > User groups and permissions".
