Who all receives an email notification about new reports?

For new reports in preeco | whistleblower, either the responsible ombudsperson or – if none is defined – the administrators are notified first. Assigned case handlers receive email notifications about their reports. In addition, under „Organizations > Incoming reports" any further email addresses can be stored that are informed for every new report.

When a new report is received in preeco | whistleblower, email notifications are automatically sent to the responsible persons. The system follows a clear notification logic to ensure that reports are processed promptly.

Notification for new reports

For newly incoming reports, it is first checked whether an ombudsperson is defined for the corresponding reporting channel:

If an ombudsperson is defined, this person receives the email notification about the new report.

If no ombudsperson is defined, the administrators are notified about the new report.

Notification of assigned case handlers

As soon as a case handler has been assigned to a report as the main user, this person also receives email notifications about this report. The assignment is usually made after the first receipt of the report by the ombudsperson or administrators.

Additional notification addresses

Under "Organizations > Incoming reports" any further email addresses can be stored. These additional recipients are automatically notified for every incoming report, independently of the regular notification logic.
