Text modules: find and clean up duplicates
A text module duplicate is a text module with identical content. The display of such duplicates is found under "Settings > Text modules", where the overview can be filtered by enabling the "Number of duplicates" column. Administrator permissions are required for this function. To resolve duplicates, you select the duplicate, use "Actions > Resolve duplicates" and decide whether an element should remain for "All organizations" or for all necessary organizations. Resolving can take some time, and a confirmation appears once the process is complete.
A text module duplicate is a text module with exactly the same content.
Where do I find the display?
Under "Settings > Text modules" you can filter your overview so that all duplicates are displayed.
To do this, place a check mark at "Columns > Number of duplicates".
What permissions do I need for the display?
Administrator permissions
Where is "Resolve"? What options are there?
Click on the duplicate, go to "Actions > Resolve duplicates". A window now opens with a selection for resolving.
Desired result:
An element with affiliation "All organizations"
or
An element with affiliation to all necessary organizations
"All organizations" means that after the process ends, only one text module exists that belongs to all organizations.
"All necessary organizations" means that the text module, which previously existed separately for different organizational units, then only exists once but belongs to the different organizational units.
Please note that resolving the duplicates can take some time. During this time, the duplicates may continue to appear. You will receive a confirmation message once the process is complete.
