Sending consent forms - three options
In preeco | data protection, three sending options are available for consent forms: single sending to one person via a direct email request, multiple sending by duplication to selected contacts, as well as provision as a public web form with URL or embed code for the website. Web forms can only be created for consent forms without a file-based document and enable unlimited distribution of the link.
In preeco | data protection you can send consent forms in three different ways: as a single send to one person, as a multiple send to selected contacts, or as a public web form.
Sending once to one person
This variant is suitable when you want to send a consent form to a single person. Navigate to "Contracts > Consent forms" and select "New > Create consent form". Enter a designation and define the affiliation, then click on "Create". Click on "Edit" and enter all details about the person as well as the email address. Click on the "Request for signature" button and then on "Send". The person now receives an email with a link to the consent form.
Sending to multiple contacts
You use this variant when you want to send a consent form to multiple selected contacts at the same time. Select an existing consent form or create a new one and click on "Actions > Duplicate and request signatures". All contacts are now displayed, from which you can select the desired recipients. Click on "Duplicate and request signatures". The selected contacts each receive an email with their personal link to the consent form.
Creating as a web form
With this variant you create a public web form that you can provide via a link or as an embed code on your website. The link can be passed on to any number of recipients. Navigate to "Contracts > Consent forms" and create a new consent form or select an existing one. Click on "Actions > Create web form". A "Web form" section with a public URL and an embed code is now displayed. Copy the URL or the embed code and use it for your website or emails. If you want to change the content of the consent form afterwards, first reset the status of the document to "In progress".
