Request or submit change proposals for processing activities
In preeco | data protection and information security, there is now the "Change proposals" function, which allows you to obtain information about processing activities from external persons or users with read permission. Via the main navigation in the "Collaboration" area or directly at a processing activity in the "Change proposals" tab, change proposals can be requested or submitted. External persons receive an email with a link for responding; once the answers have been received, the responsible persons are automatically notified and the status of the proposals is updated. The answers or proposals can then be adopted directly.
In preeco | data protection and preeco | information security, the "Change proposals" function is now available to you for processing activities. This allows you to easily obtain information about processing activities from external persons – i.e. non-users – by using the "Request change proposals" option. At the same time, users with read permissions have the option to suggest their own change proposals for processing activities via "Submit change proposals".
There are two ways to access the "Change proposals" function: Either you select the "Collaboration" area in the main navigation, where you will find an overview of all sent change proposals and their status, or you open the respective processing activity directly and switch to the "Change proposals" tab there. Via the "New > Request by email" button, you can specifically request information from external persons; after sending, the recipient receives an email with a link through which the questions can be answered.
As soon as a change proposal has been answered, you receive an email notification, and the status of the change proposal changes from "Pending response" to "Completed“. The answers can then be adopted. The same procedure applies to change proposals that are submitted by users: After submission, the editors of the processing activity are informed by email and can adopt the proposed changes.
