File storage: Create folders and subfolders

In preeco | data protection you can build a structured folder structure in the file storage under Collaboration. Main folders are created directly via the "Create folder" function. You create subfolders by moving a newly created folder into an existing folder via "Actions" and "Move folder".

In preeco | data protection you can manage your data securely and organize it in a targeted way. The file storage allows you to set up a structured folder structure with main folders and subfolders.

Create main folder

To create a new main folder, proceed as follows:

  1. Navigate to "Collaboration > File storage"
  2. Click Create folder
  3. Assign a meaningful name to the folder
  4. Confirm the creation

Create subfolder

Once you have created a main folder and want to add a subfolder, proceed as follows:

  1. First create the desired folder at the main level
  2. Click Actions on this folder
  3. Select Move folder
  4. Select the parent folder into which the folder should be moved
  5. Confirm the move

The folder is now shown as a subfolder in the selected main folder.
