Easily control document links in preeco

In preeco | data protection and information security, you can link documents together for better organization and remove these links again at any time if needed. You have the choice to either delete the entire document or only release the link without deleting the document itself. This can be controlled specifically via the respective tabs, for example under „Collaboration“ or „Risk analysis“, so that you can flexibly adapt your document structure.

Managing links in preeco

In preeco | data protection and preeco | information security you have the option to link documents together in order to keep your work processes clearly organized. In the read and edit view you will find helpful options such as checklists or surveys in the various tabs, which make organization easier for you.

Removing links

You can cancel existing links again at any time. There are two ways to do this:


1. Delete the document completely

If you no longer need the linked document, you can remove it completely:

  • Select the desired document in the table in the respective tab (e.g. checklists or surveys)
  • Click on „Actions > Delete"
  • This deletes both the document and the link


2. Only release the link

If you want to keep the document but cancel the link, proceed as follows:

  • Navigate under „Collaboration" to the corresponding topic area (e.g. surveys) or under „Risks > Risk analysis" to the relevant document
  • Select „Actions > Edit"
  • In the „Linked with" field you can specifically remove the existing link

This way you retain control over your document structure at all times and can flexibly adapt it to your requirements.
