Delete user
Users are not deleted immediately in preeco | data protection when they are removed from all teams. The deletion mechanism works in two stages: First, all access rights are revoked and login is blocked. After a waiting period of 30 days, the final, irreversible deletion from the system takes place – provided the person was not assigned to a team again in the meantime.\_
How does the deletion mechanism work?
When you remove a user from a team, they are not deleted immediately. Instead, a two-stage process applies:
- The person immediately loses all access rights and can no longer log in.
- Provided the user is not a member of another team, the account is permanently and irreversibly deleted from the system after 30 days
If the user belongs to other teams, they can still log in there.
