Create text modules

In preeco | data protection and information security, numerous pre-built text modules are used to fill out documents more efficiently and consistently. Over 1200 text modules are already integrated and organized by category. New text modules can be created either centrally via the settings or directly while editing a document, with the assignment to specific organizational units being definable in each case. The permission to edit or create text modules should be granted selectively in order to avoid duplicates. In preeco | data protection and preeco | information security, text modules are used in many documents. Using text modules for field content makes it possible to fill out documents faster and more efficiently, as much of the content is already pre-formulated. This way you and your team save time and benefit from consistent specifications. Approximately 1200 text modules are already included in preeco | data protection in the delivery state and are sorted into categories.

Two ways are available to you for creating new text modules:

  1. Via the settings:
    Under "Settings > Text modules" you will find an overview of all existing text modules. By clicking on "New" you can create a new text module and explicitly define its affiliation to a specific organizational unit.

  2. Directly in the document:
    While filling out a document, you can create a new text module directly by entering new text and pressing the Enter key. Note that a text module created in this way is only available in the organizational units to which the respective document is assigned.

Alternatively, you can also click the "+" icon in a text module field to create a new module. In this case you will also be asked for the desired organizational unit.

Note: Creating or editing text modules is a permission that can be assigned to a user. We recommend not assigning this to every user in order to avoid duplicates.
