Changing organizational structures
Changes to the organizational hierarchy in preeco | data protection and preeco | information security are made by creating new organizations or renaming them, since directly changing the parent organization is not possible. Afterwards, you can adjust the document assignment via "Change assignment", also as a bulk action in tables.
If you need to change organizations (companies, areas and departments) in your hierarchy in preeco | data protection and preeco | information security, it is best to proceed as follows:
Directly changing the parent organization in the advanced permission system is not possible, because this would cause the previously existing permissions and assignments to be lost.
In the standard permission system it is possible to switch parent companies.
The following approach has proven effective: You create the changed organizational structure anew or rename the organizations accordingly. Afterwards, you can adjust the assignment of the documents accordingly via "Change assignment" on the respective documents. This action is also available as a bulk action in the tables.
