AI actions for text modules

preeco offers the option to create and optimize text modules with the help of artificial intelligence. The AI feature is available both when creating new ones via the settings and directly when editing documents. Already created text modules can be optimized afterwards. Appropriate permissions in the team management are required for use.

In preeco | data protection you can have text modules created with the help of artificial intelligence.

This works both when creating new text modules and directly when editing documents.

To activate this feature, please store a custom AI provider API key in the settings under "Integrations".

Creating text modules via settings

Navigate to "Settings > Text modules > New" to create a new text module. After selecting the text module category and the language, the "AI actions" button becomes visible in the top right.

Here you now have the option to choose between "Only supplement text" or "Completely revise text".

With the "Only supplement text" action, the existing text is retained - the new content is merely added.

With the "Completely revise text" action, existing texts are overwritten.

Creating text modules directly in the document

You can also create new text modules while editing a document and have them generated with AI. To do so, simply click on + in the desired text module field in editing mode and then have the text generated with AI.

Optimizing already created text modules

You can also have already created text modules optimized with AI afterwards. To do so, simply click on the desired text module – either under "Settings" or directly in the document by clicking on the pencil – and select "AI actions"

Required permissions

To create text modules and use the AI feature, users need the permission to edit text modules as well as the right "Allow use of the AI feature". These permissions are assigned under "User groups" in the team management.
