Affiliation conflicts in documents

In preeco | data protection and information security, affiliation conflicts can occur when working with documents if content, templates or functions are not released for the selected organization or users do not have the required permissions. To avoid such conflicts, you should check which organizational units are relevant for the document and its content and whether your own user account is correctly assigned. In case of problems, it is recommended to contact an administrator to adjust the affiliation or permissions. When creating and assigning documents, care should be taken to select the appropriate organizational units so that all relevant users have access.

In preeco | data protection and preeco | information security, affiliation conflicts can occur when working with documents. These arise when certain content, templates or functions are not released for the selected organization or users do not have the necessary permission.

Typical messages:

  • "This document uses at least one element that is not available for the selected organization."
  • "This document uses a template that is not available for the selected organization."
  • "This document uses at least one text module for which you do not have read permission."

What can you do?

  • Check which organizational units the document and the content used in it belong to.
  • Make sure that your user account is assigned to the necessary organizational unit.
  • In case of existing conflicts, contact an administrator to have your affiliation or permissions adjusted.
