Why is there no release option for a data protection impact assessment (DPIA)?
A data protection impact assessment (DPIA) has no "Released" status; its statuses are "New", "In progress", "Acceptable", "Act / Check", "Unacceptable" and "Archived". For this reason the "Release" function is not available for a DPIA, neither in the user interface nor in the "Actions" menu.
The "Release" function is not available for a data protection impact assessment (DPIA) because a DPIA does not have a "Released" status. Instead, a DPIA goes through the statuses "New", "In progress", "Acceptable", "Act / Check", "Unacceptable" and "Archived". The "Release" option therefore appears neither in the user interface nor in the "Actions" menu.
