Creating a web form for consent forms – prerequisites

A web form can only be provided via the Create web form action for consent forms that were created as text in preeco | data protection. Consent forms uploaded as a file (PDF) cannot be converted into a web form because they lack the text content maintained in the system. Link the consent form to the matching information obligation beforehand.

Last updated:

A web form that data subjects can fill in themselves can only be created for consent forms that were created directly in preeco | data protection as a text document. No web form can be provided for a consent form uploaded as a file (for example a PDF), because its content is represented entirely by the uploaded file and no text sections are maintained in the system.

  • Consent forms that are created in the platform via Create consent form and filled with content can be provided as a public web form via the Create web form action on the detail page.
  • Consent forms created via Upload file (file-based) cannot be converted into a web form.

Link a consent form to the matching information obligation before you activate the web form, so that the consent can be given on an "informed" basis.
