Create a rule set and extend it with AI – manage internal policies centrally
In rule sets you document internal policies centrally and versioned – the basis of accountability under Art. 5(2) GDPR. Create a rule set, structure it into multi-level chapters in the editor (with a selectable section numbering), use „AI actions" to supplement or fully revise the content, and release it – every release creates a revision.
Rule sets are the written foundation of your internal compliance – e.g. data-protection and IT-security policies. They fulfil the accountability obligation under Art. 5(2) GDPR and are maintained centrally and versioned in preeco | data protection.
1. Create a rule set:
In the left menu click „Securities" and then „Guidelines". Via „New" you start a rule set blank, from sample documents, or from a file – a name and organisations are enough to begin.
2. Detail page layout:
The detail page is split into „General", „Association" and „Text content", with tabs like „Revisions" and „Relations".
3. Structure the content:
Via „Edit" you open the structured editor, choose the section numbering (e.g. „I. 1. a.") and structure the rule set into multi-level chapters under „Text content".
4. Extend content with AI:
Via „AI actions" you let the system „only supplement" or „completely revise" the content. Add optional notes and confirm the request – the data is sent to your configured AI integration. The AI adds matching chapters; you review and refine the result.
5. Release and link:
„Release" creates a revision, so it is always traceable which version applied when. In the „Relations" tab you link the rule set with measures, processing activities or trainings.
Note: The AI actions become available once an AI provider is configured under Settings → Integrations.
