Automatically remove duplicate text modules in information obligations
When several processing activity entries are used in one information obligation, text modules with identical content are only output once in the finished document. Apparent duplicates usually arise from placeholders filled in differently or from two separately created, merely similar modules. If there really are two text modules with identical content, the superfluous one can be removed directly at the processing activity entry or in the text modules area.
When several processing activity entries are used in one information obligation and are adopted automatically, duplicate text modules are removed automatically. The system outputs the same text module only once in the finished document.
If seemingly duplicate modules appear, this is usually due to one of these reasons:
- Placeholders with different values: If a text module contains placeholders that are filled in differently per processing activity entry (e.g. a location, a name or a deadline), text with different content is created. Both variants are output deliberately, because they are not genuine duplicates.
- Two different text modules: There are two different text modules that only look very similar but were created as separate modules. The system treats these as different.
If there are two separate text modules with identical content, the superfluous text module can be removed directly at the respective processing activity entry or in the text modules area.
