Affiliation conflicts with users and tasks
The visibility of tasks and documents depends on a user's affiliation to organizations. Although all active team members are available in the "Assigned to" selection menu, a user without the matching affiliation cannot open the assigned task. Maintain the affiliation under Settings > Users and reassign incorrectly assigned tasks if necessary.
Tasks and documents in preeco | pdi are visible on an organization basis: which content a user can see and edit depends on their affiliation to organizations. If a user lacks the matching affiliation, they can still be assigned to a task – all active members of the team are available for selection in the Assigned to selection menu – but they cannot subsequently access the assigned task or the associated document.
To fix this, make sure that the user has the correct affiliations. You adjust these under Settings > Users: open the user's detail page, click Edit and add the required organizations in the Affiliation section (or activate All organizations).
If a task was assigned incorrectly, you can reassign it to a suitable person by editing the task.
