In preeco | datenschutz, you can have text modules created using artificial intelligence.

This works both when creating new text modules and directly when editing documents.

To activate this function, please store a custom AI provider API key in the settings under "Integrations".

Creating text modules via settings

Navigate to "Settings > Text modules > New" to create a new text module. After selecting the text module category and language, the "AI actions" button becomes visible in the upper right corner.

Here you have the option to choose between "Supplement text only" or "Completely revise text".

With the "Supplement text only" action, the existing text is preserved – the new content is simply added.

With the "Completely revise text" action, existing texts are overwritten.

Creating text modules directly in the document

You can also create new text modules while editing a document and have them generated by AI. To do so, simply click on the desired text module field in edit mode, click +, and then have the text generated by AI.

Optimizing previously created text modules

You can also have previously created text modules optimized by AI retroactively. Simply click on the desired text module – either under "Settings" or directly in the document by clicking the pencil icon – and select "AI actions".

Required permissions

To create text modules and use the AI function, users need the permission to edit text modules as well as the right "Allow use of AI function". These permissions are assigned under "User groups" in team management.
