DeepL as translation service
In preeco | datenschutz you can use automated translations by storing a DeepL API key under Settings - Integrations. Web subscription and API access are separate products at DeepL, requiring separate registration. DeepL offers both free and paid API access.
In preeco | datenschutz you can configure automated translations for your team. Go to "Settings > Integrations" and enter your DeepL API key there. This is independent of any existing DeepL Pro web subscription. Register for API access separately on the DeepL website in the API section. Only an administrator can enter the API key.
To enable automatic translations for your user group, activate the permission "Allow use of automatic translations (DeepL)" in the team management.
The important difference
At DeepL, web subscription and API access are separate products. A DeepL Pro subscription for the website does not automatically entitle you to API usage. You must register separately for the DeepL API. DeepL offers both free and paid API access.
