Delete users
Users in preeco | datenschutz are not immediately deleted when they are removed from all teams. The deletion mechanism is a two-step process: First, all access rights are revoked and login is blocked. After a waiting period of 30 days, the permanent, irreversible deletion from the system takes place – provided the person has not been reassigned to a team in the meantime.
How does the deletion mechanism work?
When you remove a user from a team, they are not immediately deleted. Instead, a two-step process takes effect:
- The person immediately loses all access rights and can no longer log in.
- If the user is not a member of any other team, the account will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from the system after 30 days.
If the user belongs to other teams, they can continue to log in to those teams.
