A course consists of learning units with image or video content and exam questions in multiple-choice or single-choice format. You set the minimum score for certification yourself. In the training templates, you arrange chapters, slides and learning checks by drag and drop. You can upload several slides in one step, name and sort them; each slide appears as a card with a preview.
Two templates are included: “IT security – awareness for employees” and the “NIS2 training for management”, which helps you evidence the training obligation of management bodies. You can use both straight away as a starting point. Beyond these, you create your own courses, for example on your internal policies or on topics for individual departments.
You add participants manually, take them from your contacts or import them via XLSX, for example from a staff list. For each course, you set an availability period during which it can be completed. The public training pages appear consistently in the language set for the course and also work on narrow screens.
For each course, you see the progress of all participants and of each individual person. The overview shows the participation status, and participations can also be filtered by result. You generate certificates of participation and download them as PDF. Overview tables can be exported as XLSX, so you can evidence participation in an audit, for example.
A follow-up on the course defines when the refresher is due; at the scheduled time, preeco sends an email reminder and creates a new task on the dashboard. For the next round, you create a new course based on your training template, assign the participants and set the availability period.
Yes. You set a language for each course, and the public training page appears consistently in that language. preeco | information security supports 25 languages for the interface and documents; interface language and document language are chosen separately. This way you also reach sites and employees who do not work in German day to day.
No. Online training is part of preeco | information security and runs in the same application in which you manage your ISMS. Courses show their relationships to other documents, and tasks, comments and follow-ups are available here too. The training function is licensed as a separate module.
