No. The license is based on employees, modules and hosting option, not on the number of organizations you manage in preeco | data protection. This matters especially for groups of companies, public authorities with several departments and external data protection officers who look after many organizations within one team. We are happy to discuss how to map your structure in a consultation.
You usually license preeco | data protection as an annual subscription with monthly or annual payment. Updates, maintenance and support are included for the term of the contract, and there are no setup fees. New features arrive automatically with the roughly monthly updates. If your number of employees changes or you need further modules, the license can be adjusted accordingly.
The basis is the data protection functions for documentation and collaboration. In addition you can choose contracts, training, deletion concepts, audits, risk assessments and the AI Regulation module. Audit catalogs for BSI IT-Grundschutz, CISIS12 and VdA ISA are optional and chargeable; the preeco data protection audit catalog is included. You start with what you need today and extend later.
We provision cloud and private cloud within 48 hours on working days; for on-premises the schedule is agreed individually. Onboarding includes setting up your organizational structure, user groups and permissions, as well as online training for administrators and end users. Migrating data from legacy systems is available as an optional, chargeable project.
For cloud and private cloud, in ISO 27001-certified data centers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Nuremberg, with a daily off-site backup in Falkenstein that is stored encrypted with AES-256. Personal data is not transferred to third countries. We conclude a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR with every customer. With on-premises, you run the software in your own data center.
Standard support by email and ticket system, online chat subject to availability, online documentation and an FAQ section are included, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm except on German public holidays. Response times depend on the hosting option and the priority of the issue. Telephone and video conference support are available as chargeable premium support.
